Creating repository on GitHub

create-repository

  1. Open GitHub Desktop.
  2. Select Create a new repository on your hard drive.
  3. Provide repository name and description.
  4. Select local path where you will store the files.
  5. Check Initialize this repository with a README checkbox.
  6. Click Create repository.
  7. Click Publish repository.
  8. In GitHub.com tab, do not change the name and description.
  9. Check Keep this code private checkbox.
  10. Click Publish repository.
  11. Log in to this website.
  12. Search for the created repository.
